I had so much fun joking around with Paul Edwards about everything. One night we had home made chocolate ice cream. I served my self a bowl and selected a long spoon with witch to eat my ice cream with. It was about eight inches long and had a small "head". As I am walking over to sit down in the living room, Paul makes the comment that it is a great spoon for eating fast, because my finger wont get in the way!! lol i lost it. I was laughing so hard I was crying!! I would control myself, then look at Paul and loose it again!! I would control myself, still giggling and sniffing, and would look at the spoon, and loose control again!!! Finally I had the sense to get a different spoon, after laughing for about ten minutes straight!
Other things I enjoyed doing with Paul was watching him and listening to the conversations he and Jim would have with our host, Steve. Paul is very funny, and very interesting. He has a different way for explaining things.
Abby was fun getting to know a little. I don't know many girls around my age very well, so it was interesting. She is very shy, and so am I when it comes to girls, so I figured I had nothing to loose. We made some small talk in the van, but I would try to make her laugh at the conversations I would have with her dad, which were pretty fun. On the trip back we played the alphabet game( the one were you have to find all the letters in order, one at a time, on sings and license plates) which was fun. Then Faith sat were I was setting, and I went to the back seat with Miss Mala. Abby and I then took turns tickling Faith or did it together. It was lots of fun at Faiths expense. But it cause a smile when ever I see any of them again.
Miss Mala lead the worship on the trip, and was very nice to get to know. On the ride up she mostly slept because her sinuses were acting up. On the ride down I sat next to her when she was feeling better. She is so talented when it comes to music, it is incredible. She helped me put the tune"come thy fount of every blessing"to James 1. Such a good memory, and such good help. She was so kind too.
